Synopsis:

Takoi is a kindhearted, unmarried detective in his forties assigned to the Criminal Affairs Division of the peaceful, semi-rural Yamanomichi Police Station. A non-career officer, he is well-loved by people of all ages in the local community. Constantly at odds with him is Shiono, a handsome junior officer in his twenties from the Community Safety Division who is on the fast-track career path. The two clash over the smallest things every day, and to make matters worse, they are also neighbors in the police dormitory. Just when their relationship seems destined to remain a nightmare, everything changes after Takoi is unexpectedly set up on a marriage meeting.
