Synopsis:

Singer Jin Xi’s foray into acting was a disaster, drawing widespread ridicule for his abysmal performance. Refusing to admit defeat, he charted a new course by trying his hand at musical theater, determined to stage a comeback and prove his detractors wrong. By a twist of fate, he fell for Ning Jin—a cool, uncompromising, and elite musical theater director—after an accidental, intimate kiss; their paths crossed again shortly after at an audition. Ning Jin, already skeptical of idols crossing over into theater, was incredibly harsh toward Jin Xi—a “traffic-driving” newcomer who had seemingly parachuted into the production—subjecting him to a relentless gauntlet of grueling, “devilish” training. Braving ostracism from senior troupe members, sabotage by rivals, and public scrutiny, Jin Xi practiced day and night to hone his craft. He gradually shed his idol persona to reveal his authentic self, slowly winning over the aloof director and the rest of the troupe. Throughout their journey, the pair weathered numerous trials.
